Hotel with half board in Valle Aurina for culinary enjoyment

Good food, of course

What is served at the Moosmair is linked to what grows here in the mountains. Regional, thoughtfully prepared and guided by flavour rather than flourish – creating a sense of enjoyment from morning through to evening.

Breakfast

from 7.30am to 10am

The day begins with a classic breakfast buffet featuring regional produce.
Bread, cheese, bacon, jams and honey are sourced from the region or made in-house. Egg dishes are freshly prepared. Accompanied by coffee or tea – and the time to ease gently into the day.

Dinner

from 6.30pm

The evening is also dedicated to indulgence: a four-course dinner with a choice of two dishes for each course. Creative and rooted in the region, free from frills – pure in flavour and crafted with true culinary skill. Vegetarian dishes are an integral part of the menu.
Herbs play an important role in our daily lives. What grows in the summer, we process, preserve and store for the winter. This way, the taste of the warm months remains present throughout the year.
Each day, a wine recommendation is drawn from the cellar – unpretentious, perfectly paired with the menu and presented without unnecessary flourish.

Kitchen & signature

Dominik has been an integral part of the team for many years.
After his apprenticeship, he went through every station in the kitchen and got to know the Moosmair from the ground up. For over a decade, he has shaped the culinary identity of the hotel as the Head chef.
In the quieter months, he has continually broadened his horizons – undertaking placements abroad, exploring new cuisines and refining his techniques. He has continually brought this knowledge back to Acereto, weaving it together with what he knows best.
Raised on a small farm in Valle Aurina, a respectful approach to ingredients comes naturally to him. That heritage is reflected in his cuisine: honest, deeply rooted in the region and defined by clarity of flavour.
